Cardamom is one of the oldest and most expensive spices of oriental cuisine. TRS Elachi (Green Cardamom Whole) are whole cardamom seeds which are used freshly chopped in small quantities in food. Compared to black cardamom, green cardamom tastes spicy and has a fresh lemony flavor. Green Cardamom is mainly used for the preparation of masalas and curries, for seasoning pillows (Indian spiced rice with peas), and for refining desserts. Use TRS Elachi (Green Cardamom Whole) also in your coffee and for refining pastry.
